Cowan was born with a genetic mutation that causes refractory seizures, tone issues, and vision problems. He does hydrotherapy with the Otteroo once a week, and uses it at home too. His parents are noticing improvements. His mom, Shannon tells us more.

... Otteroo is making pool therapy much more acceptable and much less stressful for anybody who has him in the water.

What do you like about the Otteroo?

I do think that the Otteroo is making pool therapy much more acceptable and much less stressful for anybody who has him in the water. I think it gives everybody peace of mind.

How so?

It's been really helpful for us; I can't say enough good things. Mostly because of peace of mind. My parents are very good at handling him, and our PT has been great especially when he was little and just getting to where my mom was having trouble lifting him because of the weight. I feel like everybody in our family has been really receptive.

Cowan's mutation is extremely rare and is on the gene, WWOX.
